Any time you have a change in life circumstances you should review your Will and estate documents to ensure that they still give you what you need.  And divorce (or remarriage, etc.) definitely is a change in life circumstances.  If you don’t review and adjust your documents through this experience, you may find that everything you have is shifted to the wrong person – or handled incorrectly – in ways you wouldn’t want to see.  Adjusting your documents is the best way to ensure that you control your assets and your life, and that things go the way you planned.
